Ironman inversion tables vary a great deal in their features.

Large padded backrests:

With the exception of a couple of the more budget options from Ironman, most other Ironman inversion tables feature the large rectangular padded backrest.

Most Ironman inversion table backrests are also padded with memory foam making them very comfortable and supportive.

Some Ironman tables also come with a lumbar support pillow while others (such as the Ironman IFT 4000) have heat functions built into the backrests.

High Weight Capacities:

Models such as the 3000 and the 4000 inversion tables from Ironman have 350 lb weight capacities making them some of the strongest options available.

Tether strap angle limitation:

The majority of Ironman table use the trusty tether strap system for angle limitation.

While this system may be considered the most bland limiting system on offer, it is highly effective and simple to adjust.

Simply adjust the length of the tether strap to restrict the angle of the backrest when inverting. The shorter the length of the strap the smaller the angle that you will invert at.

You can of course detach or remove the tether strap to prevent any angle limitation occurring, allowing for full inversion.

Other models from Ironman feature the iControl disk brake system, a system that allows you to lock the backboard into any position while on the table simply by pulling a lever.

Extra long ankle lever:

This is a feature found mainly on the higher end models of Ironman inversion tables.

An extra long lever that allows the user to lock their ankles into the inversion table without the need to bend over.

This is a fairly useful feature to reduce putting strain upon the back.

Ironman Gravity 4000 Inversion Table

The Ironman 4000 inversion table is a table that almost everyone seems to love.

The strong design and 350 lbs weight capacity make it an excellent choice for a wide range of users up to 6 ft 6″ in height.

The wide memory foam padded backrest is also a great addition for comfort and support no matter what your body type.

In many peoples opinion one of the best things about the Ironman 4000 is the fairly low price. When compared to other inversion tables on the market the Gravity 4000 is extremely good value for money.

Although the Ironman 4000 doesn’t have a great deal of flashy features it is a solid option that gets tons of praise.
